Join us at Bannockburn House for an exciting day of fun activities, tours, Pizza, "Battle of the Bannocks" and the world premiere of a short film about the Battle of Bannockburn filmed at Bannockburn House with over 70 young people and our very own dance film with Parsifal James Hurst about the history of Bannockburn House explored through contemporary dance.
We will have a very special live dance performance from the young people from Shakespeare Kids and Vantage Points artist Parsifal James Hurst. Parsifal has been working with the group over the past months to create a live performance adaptation of his contemporary dance piece, originally developed during the early stages of the Vantage Points project in 2021.
Carolyn Fraser, also part of the Scene Stirling Vantage Points network, will lead creative drop-in workshops throughout the day to create a large scale fabric participatory piece that will then be exhibited at Bannockburn House.
We will be joined by Murray Cook who will be leading a tour of the "Bloody Faulds" which are located on the grounds of Bannockburn House.
There will also be guided tours of the house throughout the day. The day itself is free to attend, we are asking for £5 per person only for the guided tours available on the day, which are bookable as an option with your free ticket.
